This film is being shot in Canada, Tokyo and Isesaki-shi Japan.  

 

The work of gifted artisans harvesting raw wood, then designing and constructing a blanket trunk to be gifted at a Shinto wedding in Isesaki-shi, Japan, act as a metaphor this engaging story of friendship and personal courage triumphing over misfortune.

 

 

'Natsuru's Trunk' is a film Achimok is shooting in British Columbia, Canada and in Tokyo and Isesaki-shi Japan.

This film follows the hands of gifted artisans harvesting raw wood, then designing and constructing a blanket trunk to be gifted at a Shinto wedding in Isesaki-shi, Japan. As we follow the trunk across the hands of various artisans, it acts as a metaphor for the engaging story of friendship between Natsuru's father and a log home builder in Canada and Natsuru's situation. It is a film about personal courage of both of the men and Natsuru triumphing over misfortune.
